Here’s A List Of Samsung Galaxy Devices That Will Receive Android Oreo Update

The search giant Google’s latest operating system, Android 8.0 Oreo was announced in August Last year. Since then, multiple smartphone manufacturers have confirmed which devices will receive the Oreo Update. Well, if we look around, companies like OnePlus and Nokia have started to actually roll out the update.

The South Korean Giant, Samsung is yet to confirm which devices will receive the Oreo Update. Recently, XDA Developers have found a couple of XML resources that details the hardware of several Samsung smartphones.

The XML file shared some details regarding which Galaxy devices are about to receive the Android Oreo Update. The XML files are named after the codenames of Samsung Galaxy Devices and they are expected to be tested for Android Oreo Update.

Well, it’s worth to note that these XML files are not a solid proof that these Galaxy devices will receive the Android Oreo update. So, we suggest you to take with a pinch of Salt.

Samsung Galaxy A3 2017, Galaxy A5 2017, Galaxy A7 2017, Galaxy A8 2016 SM-A810, Galaxy A8 2018, Galaxy A8+ 2018, Galaxy J3 2017, Galaxy J5 2017, Galaxy J7 2017, Galaxy J7+, Galaxy J7 Duos 2017, Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy J7 Neo, Galaxy J7 Prime, Galaxy Note FE, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S8 Active, Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S8+

Android Oreo update brings lots of new features to users like Notification Channels, Picture-in-Picture mode, a new set of emojis. Not only these, the latest version of Google’s operating system is also said to bring a new “Night Mode” feature.
